Overview
HuaAn thrie beam guardrail features its shape of three waves, which has an added corrugation on the basic of traditional W-beam made as per AASHTO M180 standard. Compared to two-wave shape products, this one has a stronger construction and higher impact endurance. It is a perfect combination of high quality material and excellent anti-rust zinc or PVC coating. All of these make it outstanding at long-term corrosion and rust resistance.
HuaAn thrie-beam guardrail product is formed in accordance with the latest highway safety barrier technology for making sure its high durability and maximum strength. Meanwhile, our M180 guardrails have passed the crash testing of TL1, TL2, TL3, TL4 as per MASH.

Crash Test
- As part of the rewrite of NCHRP 350 [NCHRP Project 22-14(2)], the MGS Barrier was successfully tested;
- With both the 5000-pound quad cab and 5000-pound 3/4-ton pickup trucks;
- With the 2425-pound small car at the 32″ rail height;
- The MGS Barrier has a greater construction tolerance: Was tested to 32″;
- Having all of the components of the MGS system tested at 27 5/8″ allows the states to both set a construction tolerance for the rail system and to overlay the road without adjusting the system;
- Both tangent and flared terminals were tested in the MGS configuration as an option;
- The MGS Guardrail Barrier offers many variables to accommodate the real-world site conditions;
- The SKT and FLEAT were successfully crash tested in the MGS configuration.

Thrie Beam crash barrier is a standard guardrail panel designed to keep errant vehicles on the roadway. Its three-wave cross-sectional design provides greater strength and durability than the two-wave W-Beam rails. This robust construction results in higher impact endurance, making Thrie Beam especially suitable for transitional areas like bridge approaches.
According to OSHA requirements, the top edge height of guardrail systems must be 42 inches, plus or minus 3 inches, above the walking or working surface. This means the top rail must be between 39 and 45 inches high. In certain situations, the height may exceed 45 inches, provided the guardrail system meets all other specified criteria.
